How make the best and tastiest Chicken Momo

Momo is one of the best dishes you will ever find. It is originated from Nepal and Tibet. Momo has different varieties. Today we are going to learn how to make the best and tastiest chicken momo. Here is the recipe:

Ingredient to make chicken momo:

2 pounds chicken meat including breast and thigh parts.

1 onion.

A tablespoon of grated ginger.

A tablespoon of white pepper.

One spoon of cumin powder.

Salt liking to your taste.

Three tablespoons oil (vegetable oils).

finely chopped cilantro.

dough patties for wrapping. 

Green Chili to make sauce.

One spoon of sesame seed for the sauce.

Three ripe tomatoes for sauce.

Steps to make chicken momo:

To make the stuffing, add all the ingredients above in a big bowl, make sure to leave out the dough patties and ingredients for the sauce, and mix it well. Let it stay in the fridge for 20 - 25 minutes. 

After that, add the stuffing in a dough patty and wrap them. There are many ways one can wrap the Momos. The main goal is to make sure, you conceal the edges of the dough patties together so no meat comes out. For more help, you can look up videos of instructions or you can use your creativity.

Boil water in Momo steamer. Once the water comes to a boil, add Momo to the top shelf of the steamer. Steam the Momo for at least 15 minutes and not more than 20 minutes on high heat. 

For the sauce, chop tomatoes into smaller pieces. Fry it in hot pan with olive oil. Add cumin powder and sesame seed, garlic, ginger, green chilli and salt according to your liking. In about 10 minutes of cooking take it out; let it sit for 5 minutes. Then grind it in a grinder.
